New Gear!

So after a LONG time using my 20D, I finally got the camera I've been drooling over for a very long time.  My new 5D Mark II arrived today!  21.1 MP, full-frame sensor and lots more camera-awesomeness.  I didn't have much time to play this afternoon but I'll give it a good workout next week.  Just a quick snapshot of Finn at 17mm.

Little Cutie

Just before Christmas, I had the pleasure of photographing this little guy.  He was the best little model a photographer could hope for!

Color!

Over the last couple of months I shot LOTS of retail portraits, a wedding , a baby and a puppy.  I also sold my first few fine art prints on my Etsy Shop!!  But I found time to let my colorful creative side fly.

Amanda & Ava

I did a little photo session this summer with our sweet little nieces, Amanda and Ava.  Although Ava was perfectly content to stay in her basket for some portraits, Amanda was torn between being the center of attention, playing around in a tutu or joining her brothers in the pool.  The pool won out after about a minute and a half of photos but she gave me just enough time to get a few cute ones!  Not difficult with such a cute little model!

Free Stuff!

Hello!  I've been working hard on my new Holiday/Christmas/Solstice/X-mass cards and finally have them ready for the fast-approaching holidays!

If you want unique cards this year that will make your neighbors jealous you've come to the right place.  I can change any of the text so if you don't like the greeting I've used, you can add your own.  Or if you want a photo on the back instead of a greeting, we can do that too!  Check 'em out below:

And the best part is the first 25 cards are completely and totally FREE when you purchase a regularly priced photo session!

Step 1:  Reserve a photo session date and pick an awesome location.  If you don't know where you want your photos done, I've got some favorite spots I'll share with you.

Step 2: Meet me at your awesome location and get some awesome photos made.

Step 3:  Pick your awesome card style.

Step 4: Sit back and relax.  Or go Christmas shopping.  Whatever.  I'll take care of the rest!

P.S. Did you notice the hole at the top of most of the cards?  You can even add twine or a little hook and send them as ornaments!!  See, I told you they were awesome.

Epic Photography Day

Yesterday was an Epic Photo Day at Hillsborough High School.  It was non-stop senior photos all day with Prestige Portraits.  My camera arm is sore!  Good exercise though and the day went by fast.  Off to do it again!
